Alpha Industries

MA-1 Bomber Jacket

Our Alpha Industries advertisement concept showcases the MA-1 bomber jacket, an iconic piece of military-inspired outerwear, has a rich history dating back to the 1950s. Originally designed for U.S. Air Force and Navy pilots, the MA-1 was created to meet the demands of jet aircraft technology, offering warmth and flexibility in high-altitude, compact cockpits. In 1963, Alpha Industries secured the contract to manufacture the MA-1 for the U.S. military, later introducing a civilian version in the early 1970s.

This concept for Alpha Industries' MA-1 bomber jacket draws inspiration from retro-futurism and the jacket's iconic "Remove Before Flight" tag. The advertisement campaign features a love story set in New York City, heavily incorporating retro-futuristic elements. Print concepts were developed for Office and Paper magazines, showcasing the jacket's timeless appeal.

To add a personalized touch, an in-store event is proposed, featuring TikTok sensation Gioele Corradengo of Sexs Dreams. During this event, Corradengo would perform his signature spray painting on the jackets, synchronized to a live DJ set, offering customers a unique customization experience that blends contemporary art with the jacket's storied heritage.
