In the summer of 2018, Christian won a essay contest for a scholarship to study Art Studies in Italy. Christian spent the majority of his time in historic art museums and galleries. They visited Rome, Florence, Siena, Venice, & Vatican City. He immersed himself in the works of famous artist like; Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, & Giovanni Bellini. He witnessed many iconic art pieces like; The Statue of David, The Birth of Venus, The Sistine Chapel, and many more.

During his time in the country, Christian also studied the art form of Luxury brands such as, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Versace, Burberry, and more. He networked with local leather manufactures who demonstrated the way many luxury handbags are made and distributed. Christian also went to the Murano Island, outside of Venice, to watch glass blowers make their glass pieces. The glass blowing artist was well-known on the island and has been making Murano Glass pieces for over 30 years.
