Stan Hywet Hall & Garden, located in Akron, Ohio, was built in 1915 for F.A. Seiberling, co-founder of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. The Seiberlings were known for throwing lavish parties for high society Akron, and the house played host to many extravagant events. The estate has welcomed the likes of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, members of the royal family of England, as well as the Von Trapp Family & Shirley Temple. In 1935, the estate also served as the location for the wedding of Gertrude Seiberling, the daughter of F.A. Seiberling, and John Nicholas Brown, grandson of President Theodore Roosevelt. Walking through the rooms, you can feel the grandeur and opulence that once filled the halls.

This 65,000 square-foot mansion is one of the largest and most impressive homes in the United States. Designed by prominent Cleveland architect Charles Schneider, the house features a combination of English and American styles, with intricate details such as steeply pitched roofs, decorative brickwork, and ornate chimneys.
